Before starting to write books, Squall Charlson previously worked both in front and behind the camera on various movies, television shows, and commercials.

Born on May 15th, 1992, he has worked as an actor, director, editor, and screenwriter. Projects include roles in "Gags the Clown" (2018), and "Ahockalypse" (2018).

In 2020, Squall hosted and produced Shout! Factory's "Let's Talk Toku" variety television show — a focus and exploration within the Japanese genre of tokusatsu.

He is currently based out of Kansas City, where he, his wife, and their two cat children live.
